Luigi received the B.Sc. degree in “Industrial Engineering”, the M.Sc. degree and the Ph.D. degree in “Biomedical Engineering” from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in 2015, 2017 and 2021 respectively.
He is a research fellow at Intelligent Autonomous System Leonardo Labs, within the Robotics for Manufacturing Lab in Genova (Italy) where he serves as AI & Robotics researcher. His research activity focuses on the study and development of novel strategies about Robot Control and Human-Robot Interaction.
Luigi is Author of several scientific peer-reviewed papers on international journals and, in turn, he served as official reviewer for several international journals and conferences. He also participated in several international conferences as author, such as the 2021 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for Industry 4.0 & IoT and the 8th IEEE RAS/EMBS International Conference on Biomedical Robotics & Biomechatronics (2020).
Luigi is an IEEE member and served as jury member for the IEEE Wearable Device Challenge in 2019 and 2021 respectively. He also participated in the Winter School on Wearable Robotics and IEEE International Summer School on Ultrasonic and Piezoelectric Sensors in 2019 and in 2020 respectively.
