“When I was little, I visited the Naval Museum” - Giulia says - “and the subject fascinated me.” This is how her professional career began, which, after a degree in management engineering, landed at the Leonardo site in La Spezia, which Giulia defines as “a beautiful and stimulating reality, with a high technological intensity.”
The article is an opportunity for Giulia to retrace the stages of her career in our company. Immediately after graduation, she was hired by Leonardo and has never stopped since, progressively holding positions of increasing responsibility. Today, she is the first woman to hold the role of Manufacturing Programme Manager in the naval defence sector. Her responsibility is to “manage multiple products within the production line, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in full compliance with the expected costs.”
In addition to emphasising her personal and professional growth, Giulia highlights the career opportunities offered by Leonardo. “The company offers opportunities not only to graduates, but also, if not above all, to technicians, drawing heavily from schools and training institutions in the area.”
