Business Compliance

Business Compliance oversees the process relating to the appointment by Leonardo S.p.A. and the Group’s Companies of commercial intermediaries to support the business (e.g., commercial advisory, sales promotion, commercial distribution/reselling and - with exclusive reference to the subsidiaries under foreign law - lobbying agreements), through the following activities:

  • ethical-reputational analysis (due diligence), prior to the signing of the contract and in the checks preliminary to the payment
  • risk analysis and identification of mitigation actions
  • drafting of intermediary contracts which include appropriate clauses and intermediaries’ obligations aimed at protecting the Company from compliance risks.

 Roles and responsibilities

The Business Compliance Structure consists of a Corporate structure, specific Organisational Units to oversee operational activities, and a Unit in charge of ensuring the application of the relevant directives by the Italian and foreign subsidiaries.
