October 2023:  Appointed Chief Innovation Officer in Leonardo.

2017-2023: Founder and CEO of Movendo Technology, the first Italian biomedical robotic and digital company in the field of neurological, orthopaedic and geriatric rehabilitation.

2007-2017: Appointed Director-General for the establishment and setting –up of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT).  In this role he introduced IIT’s Technology Transfer where he conceived and launched the first industrial Rehab Technologies Lab, recognised as an Italian excellence in biomedical robotics worldwide. The Lab focuses on the development of robotic prostheses, exoskeletons and other innovative technologies, leading to the creation of the spin-off company, Movendo Technology.

2002-2007:  Senior Advisor to the State Accountant General and the Director-General of the Treasury in the field of innovation and digitalisation of public finance management and planning processes.

1996-2002:  Management consultant in KPMG and Deloitte Consulting in the areas of strategy, organisation, planning and control for leading multinational companies in the Energy, Mobility, Telecommunication sectors including a primary United Nations Agency.

Holds a degree in Business and Economics from “La Sapienza” University of Rome and a GC Diploma from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
