Domenica Lista, before joining Leonardo, was Head of Corporate Law – Legal – of the Poste Italiane Group. She comes from the Generali Group and in particular from Europ Assistance Holding where she was at the top of the legal department as Group General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors reporting to the CEO of the group based in Paris, leading an international team spread across the countries where the company is present. 

At the same time, she coordinated the Group's compliance reporting to the Board of Directors.
Also in the Generali Group, she worked at Banca Generali as General Counsel, Company Secretary and Governance & Sustainability Manager.

Previously, she worked at IWBank Private Investments as Head of legal, corporate affairs, litigations and claims and corporate secretary. She has also been in the legal departments of Ubi Banca, Centrobanca, Prelios Pirelli Re and Intesa Sanpaolo, holding high-level managerial roles.

She began her career as a freelancer at the law firms KPMG and Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati and has an international legal background with experience in Corporate Governance, ESG Governance and Cyber Risk. She is also a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute and of the Board of Directors of the Italian Association of Secretaries of Boards of Directors (AISCA), Head of the Centre section of AIGI (Italian Association of Corporate Lawyers) and she is a member of the Forum of Secretaries of the Boards of Directors of Listed Companies for Corporate Governance.

As soon as she achieved the qualification to lawyer, she collaborated with Prof. Umberto Laenza, as an external Legal Consultant, at the Diplomatic Litigation Service Office for the EU of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In September 2021, she qualified as a Certified Risk Director at the DCRO Institute in New York.
