In the latest issue of the magazine Civiltà delle Macchine, the focus is on how technology education could have a greater profile in Italian high schools.
We look at how to put technical institutes on a par with high schools and, in particular, the potential opportunities in Italy if these institutes were transformed into technological high schools. This includes a Leonardo-CdM Foundation proposal that recognises in them the fundamental tools for pursuing a new digital humanism.
The magazine, which is edited by Editor in Chief Marco Ferrante, also features interviews with Giulio Tremonti, Luciano Floridi, Paolo Crepet and Antonio Manzini and includes articles on equity, merit and the intertwining of technical skills and humanistic culture.
