Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces Continues Successful Relationship with Leonardo for Management and Distribution of Visual Content
Toronto, Canada and Mumbai, India – February 8th, 2016 – Leonardo Worldwide Corporation today announced a renewed agreement with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, who will continue to use Leonardo’s technology for management of its hotel visual content and distribution to Leonardo’s VNetwork, under a renewed subscription to Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System.
Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces is one of Asia’s largest and finest group of hotels, comprising 100 hotels in 62 locations across the globe, including presence in India, North America, United Kingdom, Africa, Middle East, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan. The company has renewed its agreement for Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System to easily organize their digital assets for storage, retrieval and distribution to VNetwork, the world’s largest network of travel websites and enhance the visual presentation of its hotels and resorts on thousands of third-party travel websites in Leonardo’s VNetwork.
VScape Digital Asset Management System
VScape provides Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces with the ability to:
- Use a single system to syndicate visual content to over 170 Direct Connect travel websites and their affiliates, in the VNetwork, including all four GDSs, major OTAs, non-OTA travel research sites as well as tens of thousands of forward distribution channels.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of hotel photos by matching of photos to hotel listings, via an advanced automated matching algorithm
- Upload images in any size and format, allowing the system to automatically re-size and re-format the image to meet the requirements of the different platforms and devices
- Tailor image syndication for specific guest segments on corporate self-booking tools, leisure travel websites and specialty sites.
Private Digital Library
Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces will continue to subscribe to Leonardo’s Private Digital Library (PDL) solution that will allow Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and its appointed partners to easily control and monitor the access to their hotel digital assets. The PDL connects directly with the brand’s centralized VScape, eliminating the need to upload hotel media assets to multiple systems.
