Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts Chooses Leonardo Technology for Hotel Visual Content Management and Distribution.
Toronto, ON, Canada and Singapore – June 22, 2015 – Leonardo Worldwide Corporation today announced an expanded agreement with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading international operators in the premium resort and spa industry, who has selected Leonardo technology to strengthen the way its properties are presented online.
Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, a long-standing Leonardo customer, has renewed its agreement for Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System to easily organize their digital assets for storage, retrieval and distribution to VNetwork, the world’s largest network of travel websites and enhance the visual presentation of its hotels and resorts on thousands of third-party travel websites in Leonardo’s VNetwork.
Under the new expanded agreement, Banyan Tree will also subscribe to Leonardo’s Media Approval & Workflow Engine to enable its properties to upload media directly to VScape for approval and syndication to travel websites in the VNetwork. This provides Banyan Tree a more streamlined way to source images from hotels and ensure the most current visual content is effectively distributed to third-party channels in a timely manner and adheres to their brand standards.
VScape Digital Asset Management System
VScape provides Banyan Tree with the ability to:
- Use a single system to syndicate visual content to over 170 Direct Connect travel websites and their affiliates, in the VNetwork, including all four GDSs, major OTAs, non-OTA travel research sites as well as tens of thousands of forward distribution channels.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of hotel photos by matching of photos to hotel listings, via an advanced automated matching algorithm
- Upload images in any size and format, allowing the system to automatically re-size and re-format the image to meet the requirements of the different platforms and devices
- Tailor image syndication for specific guest segments on corporate self-booking tools, leisure travel websites and specialty sites.
Private Digital Library
Banyan Tree will continue to subscribe to Leonardo’s Private Digital Library (PDL) solution that will allow Banyan Tree and its appointed partners to easily control and monitor the access to their hotel digital assets. The PDL connects directly with the brand’s centralized VScape, eliminating the need to upload hotel media assets to multiple systems.
Media Approval & Workflow Engine
Banyan Tree has added Leonardo’s Media Approval & Workflow Engine to enable properties to upload media directly to VScape for approval and syndication to travel websites in the VNetwork. This ensures that Banyan Tree’s most current visual content is effectively distributed to third-party channels in a timely manner and adheres to their brand standards.
